| Option 1 for this fireplace screen uses a single 3/16" thick layer of CNC plasma cut steel for the central design elements. The screen itself is made of a tightly woven solid brass wire mesh with an antique brass finish. The frame is designed to use compression bolts to hold it snugly against the existing fireplace opening and allow the two hinged doors to give easy access to the fireplace. Finishes for all steel components is with wire wheel brushing and a special linseed oil is applied to preserve the finish. |
