"Star Metal" Sculpture

"Star Metal; The Creators Gift", is a sculpture dedicated to the blacksmiths art. It is thought that the first wrought iron used originated from meteorites. Therefore the name "Star Metal" was given to this wonderous maleable material.

This sculpture was originally designed as a coat rack. But after completion, it seems inadequate to limit its intent to the simple function of hanging coats.
