Before affixing the 316 stainless button head screws onto the stainless, I have to hand rub the antique brass finish with a medium grit scotch brite pad to blend the finish and bring out highlights and texture which are hidden under the dark finish. Once this is done, the brass gets sealed with a light coat of paste wax and then buffed to show the luster finish. This detail is what brings elegance to the the overall project. |
