CNC plasma cutting the stainless and brass can be difficult if you do not compensate for the difference in the material. Travel speed, arc volts and even the water level in the tank can affect the amount of dross left on the cuts. I learned that submersing the brass slightly under water kept the material cooler and prevented buildup of burnt dross material from sticking to the finished brass artwork. |
