Alignment of the pre cut holes to the existing stainless coupling nuts could have been tough, but I had already removed the angled burr from the back of the holes as part of the cleaning process for these panels. You see, when the plasma torch is used to cut with, a small offset is made during cutting of the plate. This is a natural occurrence with plasma. Their is no way to compensate for the offset, so I use a stainless rotary file to clean up and square up the holes before assembly. |
