Final Forging of Faceted Ball

As you can see from this example, the facets are now showing and the ball is almost complete. The dark orange color shows that the piece is loosing its heat due to the continous working of the ball. Now that you have seen what it takes to forge one single ball, I hope you will understand and appreciate the amount of work that it takes to make custom hand forged furniture. Let me go back to the forge and continue working the other fifteen pieces of solid steel to make these wonderful hand crafted faceted balls.
