Console Table Medallion - Silver-leaved Sage

Now that the basic forms of the console tables have been completed, it is time to start considering the designs for the medallions which will be added to the tables. Each medallion will be different so that the tables will be unique but still harmonize with each other due to the overall table forms made so far.	To keep the design of the tables true to the Art Nouveau spirit, I am using a Silver-leaved Sage referenced by Karl Blossfeldt's 1929 book "Art Forms in Nature: Examples from the Plant World Photographed Direct from Nature." Dover Publications has reprinted this book under the title of "Art Forms in the Plant World" and has 120 photographs which can inspire the artist craftsman to create wonderful interpretations of nature.
