Recently I had the opportunity to work with a client from New York who found my studio on the web and wanted to commission two console tables for the foyer to his home. After discussing the design issues and budget, we came up with this contemporary approach to the Nouveau style. I worked up a pencil sketch and put it on my site for the client to look at and discuss. This preliminary sketch was approved and I told the client that I wanted to make a sample center medallion to give us all a better idea of the approach I was going to use to forge this special accent piece. |
